CIRCUS DIABLO To Open For VELVET REVOLVER, ALICE IN CHAINS In Irvine

CIRCUS DIABLO — the new project featuring THE CULT guitarist Billy Duffy, THE ALMIGHTY frontman Ricky Warwick (guitar),ex-THE CULT touring bassist/current CAMP FREDDY guitarist Billy Morrison (vocals),and former FUEL/current RIDERS ON THE STORM frontman Brett Scallions (bass) — will open for VELVET REVOLVER and ALICE IN CHAINS on October 26 at the Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, California.

"[VELVET REVOLVER drummer] Matt [Sorum] called and invited us to do the show and who wouldn't wanna open THAT gig?" explained Morrison.

According to Billy, CIRCUS DIABLO's lineup for the concert will consist of Morrison, Warwick, Charles Ruggiero (drums; SLUNT),Rob Patterson (guitar; KORN, OTEP) and the band's friend Patrick Cornell who has been playing bass guitar with the group when Brett has been unavailable. A Los Angeles club gig will be announced soon as will several West Coast dates for late November and early December.

CIRCUS DIABLO's uncensored video for "Loaded" premiered on NGTV.com (No Good TV) and can be viewed below. According to a press release, the uncensored version of this video was created specifically for No Good TV. The edit includes content that would not be allowed to air on conventional music video networks.

The band recently inked a deal with KOCH Entertainment. Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) played drums on the group's self-titled debut album, which was released on July 3. The video features guitarist Patterson and Ruggiero, who also round out CIRCUS DIABLO's touring lineup.
